A cornfed wanderlust from a small town in the Midwest, now living and working in New York City (Jessie aims to visit 30 countries before she is 30-years-old. She has hit 13.) Jessie currently is a project manager at Ogilvy & Mather,  an international advertising, public relations, and marketing agency.

Jessie has worked in the fashion industry as a stylist with Lori Goldstein, renowned fashion stylist and Editor-at-Large for Elle Magazine,  as an assistant to the editorial team at Vanity Fair Magazine,  as an employee at Bismarck-Phillips Marketing and Communications (BPCM), global fashion agency focusing on brand building and communications, and as a production assistant for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards. 


Jessie has studied advertising and public relations at the University of Illinois, creative concepting at the School of Visual Arts (NYC), fashion design at Parsons School of Design (NYC), and various subjects at Universita degli Studi di Roma Tre (Rome, Italy).

Throughout undergrad, Jessie held 8 various internships, including being a writer for CollegeFashionista.com, a marketing intern for Akira Chicago, and a public relations intern for Bella Mia Boutique. In just three months, she coordinated a Trunk Show, worked backstage at an Akira Chicago fashion show, and served on the Board for College Fashion Week, UIUC’s campus wide fashion organization. During the four years, Jessie steadily advanced at Impulse Magazine, first as Head Stylist then as Fashion Director. In addition, she ran her self-founded campus fashion organization, The Fashion School. Jessie was Recruitment Chair on the executive board of Chi Omega Sorority and a member of American Advertising Federation.

Jessie continues to focus on maintaining a world of creativity through event planning, marketing, public relations and communications - focusing on fashion, technology, sustainability, art, travel, and music.
