can't wait to go home. can't wait to sleep in my own bed. can't wait to play with my puppy dog and lay on my couch. can't wait to see my family and friends and finally see my home closet again. i have been working so hard the past couple weeks. literally staying up until five am almost every single night. studying and working to try to get good grades on my exams. my body is not happy with this. seeing as i have been an obsessive orange juice drinker this semester, i have yet to get sick (the nasty pink eye floating around campus hasn't caught up with me yet... knock on wood) BUT, the deadly combination of no sleep and horrible eating habits has left me with a nasty cold. hopefully being home will cure me of this sickness

blake wright is a graphic designer by day and a feisty doodler by night. this eccentric artist shows his love for fashion, men and humor. i have fallen deeply in love with him. doesn't change the fact that he is definitely into males, but a girl can dream. he is fantastic.

back home i wear heels constantly. people started just accepting that was my normal routine. here, i have to push myself to put the heels on. slowly and surely... it will happen and i will be yet again known as the heel girl. today i opted for comfort over style. scarves, cardigans and giant jackets. school is stressing me out, the last thing i need is a wardrobe that does the same.

best of the oscars 2011...

to me, oscar season is my favorite season. you not only get to understand and appreciate all of the hard work and realize the tremendous amount of hours the entertainment business chugs out, but you also get to take a glimpse at one of the nations fashion hot spots. looking out at the crowd through my small two dimensional television screen, i was already a little depressed about the large amounts of gorgeous people radiating through the room, but when i saw some of the gowns these beautiful women got to wear i almost broke down in hysterics. these are some of my personal favorite through out the night.
