Today I modeled for Illio (University of Illinois' student Yearbook) for the "This Years Trends" page. It was short and sweet, but very entertaining to test out my styling for a real publication. (Even if people will only look at them for comical relief in twenty years - I'm sure this will come back to haunt me)

MOVING IN

Whelp. It is safe to say I lost my blogging momentum. We will just blame my lack of motivation on my transition of moving back to campus. Being back in Champaign is strange. It feels like I never left. I am very excited to finally start this semester. 

HERE ARE A COUPLE SHOTS OF MY NEW ROOM!

I could not be more entranced by Isabel Marant's new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. I would wear any of the pieces (if I could only afford them). The entire collection really caught my eye and is right down my alley. The red trench with the white splattered detailing is perfect. I wish I could rock a bright trench like this. The sharp shouldered embellished vest is KILLER. It looks so fierce on the model and would be an amazing add to any outfit. Now the colorful knit oversized hoodie? WHO COULD NOT LOVE THAT? I just want to snuggle up with a nice book and a hot chocolate. Overall, Isabel never ceases to amaze me. The boho printed, rough-around-the-edges look is a perfect I-don't-care-what-people-think staple.

If you couldn't tell, over the last couple weeks, my blog pictures have gotten a little bit of an upgrade. By little bit, I mean my pictures went from awkward self timer point-and-shoot images, to stunning, color filled, wonderfully focused, high quality photographs. This christmas, I got a new camera! It is ridiculously insane and I couldn't be more happy with this gift. (Thank you beautiful parents!) I am thrilled to improve my posts and begin to expand my knowledge on this camera.
